These buttons program PIXIE to move forwards or backwards by one unit. If you want PIXIE to move several units you need to press the button several times.

If you press either of them once, PIXIE will move forwards or backwards one unit when you press Go. One unit is normally its own length (110mm). See units for changing unit size.

Try this program:-

Press CM, press , press Go. PIXIE will move forward its own length and then sing.

Now try this one:-

Press CM, press , press , press , press Go. PIXIE will move forwards three times its own length and then sing. After each length it will flash its light and click to show how far it has gone.

Now press , and Go. PIXIE will go forward three times its own length as before, come back one length and then sing. The new command has been added to the end of the old list.
