PIXIE can remember things even when it is turned off. Because it has this kind of memory, we can use some of it to remember the size of movements and turns and also calibration information. You can change the size of the movement units and also change PIXIE's calibration for particular (rather unusual) needs.

You can only do this when PIXIE is being charged. The charger must be plugged in and turned on to use these features. Provided that you do not allow children to use the charger, they cannot accidentally change the calibration or unit size.

As an additional safeguard, these features are only available after the entry of a “password”. There are separate passwords for changing the unit sizes and changing the calibration values.
