At the top right of the screen are three numbers that tell you where the PIP symbol is. The X value tells you how far to the right of the centre of the screen the centre of the symbol is. If it is left of the centre, the X value will be negative.

The Y value tells you how far above the centre of the screen the centre of the symbol is. If it is below the centre of the symbol, the Y value will be negative.

The heading tells you in which direction the symbol points. The number goes from 0 to 355. 0 is when the symbol points upwards, 90 is when the symbol points to the right, 180 is when the symbol points down and 270 is when the symbol points to the left.
